Since we want the highest quality courses run at Big Blue we provide practice and additional training for every Instructor/Divemaster in the group, we regularly run closed door events to keep everyones skills sharp and up to date.

We regularly run trips overseas or locally for members, more times than not we need qualified people to run these events throughout the year.

Part-time Scuba Diving Instructor

An instructor has many roles in the diving industry, we're always looking to expand our team, the ideal candidate would instill passion in people, provide up to date information on equipment and make recommendations on experience, run courses to the highest possible standards and handle logistics and safety, and have fun while doing it!

Heres a list of what we would like to see in a candidate:

  • Active, renewed and insured PADI / NAUI / CMAS instructor
  • More than 200 logged dives
  • Passion for Scuba diving
  • Tour Guide & Role Model characteristics
  • Basic oral Chinese language skills
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to learn and problem solve

Part-time Divemaster/Assistant Instructor

Divemasters and Assistant Instructors are key people in the diving industry, they offer the same up to date information on equipments and experience based recommendations, although they cannot directly run many of the courses an instructor can they are invaluable where they assist with training, help with logistics and safety.

Heres a list of what we would like to see in a candidate:

  • Active, renewed and insured PADI / NAUI / CMAS Divemaster/Assistant Instructor
  • More than 100 logged dives
  • Passion for Scuba diving
  • Tour Guide & Role Model characteristics
  • Basic oral Chinese language skills
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to learn and problem solve
